Hi, I’m Karen, also known as Top Chops – a dog grooming service based in the heart of Hackney Wick, London. I’ve been grooming since 2015 and work out of the lovely King Rory and Friends salon, where every dog receives my full, undivided attention. No rushing, no distractions. It’s just a calm and relaxed space where your dog can feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. As a dog mum myself to two, a pug and a brussels griffon, I know exactly how much your dog means to you. That’s what drives everything I do. My favourite part of the job is knowing that every dog that leaves my care feels extra special, and seeing the look on owners’ faces when they come to collect their very stylish companion. It never gets old! Over the years I’ve built my whole approach around making grooming a genuinely positive experience for dogs and owners alike. I work with consistent routines, take time with nervous dogs, and always keep you in the loop so there are never any surprises.
